Rachel Sandle, LMSW (she/they)
Therapist | Relational & Attachment-Informed | LGBTQIA+ Affirming
Rachel approaches therapy with the belief that healing happens in relationship. Guided by the understanding that what cannot be expressed to another often cannot yet be expressed to the self, she creates a space where clients can explore emotions, behaviors, and bodily experiences with curiosity and compassion. She believes that even the patterns that feel painful or self-defeating often carry deep wisdom about unmet needs, longings, or values waiting to be understood.
Rachel’s therapeutic style is eclectic and relational, drawing from multiple theoretical frameworks while centering the therapeutic relationship itself as the foundation of meaningful change. She offers LGBTQIA+ affirming care and is deeply committed to creating a therapeutic space where all identities are respected, honored, and supported. Trained as a social worker, Rachel brings a holistic and systems-aware lens to therapy, recognizing that social, cultural, and political forces shape our inner lives and experiences. She does not separate these realities from the therapeutic process and works intentionally to ensure clients feel seen within both their personal and systemic contexts.
With a background in crisis intervention and community mental health, Rachel has supported children, families, and adults across a wide range of settings. She works with clients across the lifespan, including adolescents ages 12 and older, adults, couples, and families. Drawing from her early studies in fine art and creative writing, Rachel values creativity, expression, and meaning-making as powerful pathways to healing.
Rachel has a particular passion for supporting couples and families who are struggling to understand one another. She helps clients build connection, clarity, and compassion in their relationships, fostering bonds that feel authentic, affirming, and aligned with their values. She looks forward to walking alongside you as you explore deeper connection—to yourself and to the people who matter most.
