Theresa M. Gabrielson, LMSW (she/her)

Therapist | Youth & Adult Focus | Anxiety, ADHD & Empowerment-Based Care

Theresa brings over two decades of experience within the educational system to her therapeutic work, offering a steady, informed, and compassionate presence. As a school social worker, she has extensive experience supporting middle and high school students, particularly those navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the impacts of marginalization within school environments. She also works with college-aged individuals and adults seeking support through emotional challenges and life transitions.
Grounded in a client-centered and empowerment-based philosophy, Theresa believes each person is the expert of their own life. She approaches therapy as a collaborative process that honors clients’ lived experiences while supporting them in recognizing their strengths and capacity for growth. Her work is rooted in respect, curiosity, and a genuine belief in each client’s potential.
Theresa integrates a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual, including mindfulness practices, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and narrative and bibliotherapy. She thoughtfully tailors interventions to foster connection, insight, and practical change, creating a therapeutic space that feels supportive, affirming, and responsive.
Theresa welcomes the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they clarify their goals, build confidence, and move toward enhanced well-being and a more empowered sense of self.
